Kasi Trap is his new style and self-innovative genre, His name as tray mash. To put this new genre out there Tray will be dropping the track titled Kasi Trap on the 18th of September.

"Basically the song is a new genre is the combination of different types of styles and forming one...combined Kasi rap with Trap beats, but I have made the Kasi rap more commercial not the underground type because I also fused it with English, Sepedi and Zulu so it’s really something different." He said: The video shooting is also in progress. lets's wait and see this new development. BGF Hip Hop

FORMER RIVALS ON THE SAME JOINT.

A month ago they were one stage battling, yes they started on the wrong foot and the wanted to proof who really is the first lady of BGF hip hop. I’m talking about Pearly Hooks and Devoted. Today I can be able to say that is hip hop for you and I’m loving it because these ladies have now worked together on the same joint to appear on #BGF Mixtape Vol 1.
We spoke to both the ladies on how the experience was working together. Pearly Hooks laughing out loud said; “At first I didn’t understand why me and my rival have to do a track together so soon after the battl. But when I heard it’s a Mixtape for BGF, I couldn’t resist. And we actually got along well. After Me and  Kay murking the joint the day ended up as a great experience.
Devoted Kay said “Working with Pearly Hooks was too nice, we managed to put our differences aside and came together in the name of Hip hop. Combined our skills and came up with a blast. Nice and short.” Wait for the BGF Mixtape to hear these ladies riding on the same beat. The song is called make up.

A GAME PLAYED BY PLAYER HATERS

Hip hop is a game driven by competition. It's like boxing, emcees goes after one another lyrical. Once upon a time there were this rapper's fans who did not know about this other rapper until the other rapper loaded his vocab and throw shots at the other rapper. Who then told the ignorant that beef don't grow hip hop? The hard-core fans of Jay-z were forced to listen to Nas tapes just to know who their icon was dealing with. Some fell in love with the rival or felt the rival's shots while to some the more disgusted they get but still wanna hear from the rival. Same thing happened Nas fans. And in the middle of this there were those who just came and say I just support both Kats. I ain't into this beef thing. Yeah it is Hip hop people and it will always be like this, it is a game played by straight haters. They tried to change it and they failed.
To this date Hip hop is still like that, whomever fan of Drake who did know who Meek Mill was, today they know him and can Facebook and tweet about him. Some follow and like his pages for different reasons. Who still says beef ain't good for Hip hop? From time to time people do have their differences and crack each other's heads and decide from there whether they squash their difference and smoke peace pipe. Ice cube and Dr Dre were once on each other's throat and today they homies again, Jay and Nas, Eminem and Royce Da 5'9 etc. Yes we all in life want a happy ending but before the happy endings there's pains and hardship. As a Hip hop Kat you'll know when to run your mouth and about who and not the other. People react differently in this game and not everything you say will be accepted. Some will challenge it while some will sing praises.
Some people starts beef but be cowards when they have to finish it. I mean if you take it to a social network that the other player is wack. What do you expect him to do, dance? If you know you do not like beef! Keep your opinions to yourself of social media. Do not expect everyone to love your music, haters will always arise. Sometimes it is even better if you recognize haters in your own camp that you may up your flippin game to face outside haters. This is hip hop player haters game.

Prism To Drop Rappers Sh*t (Remake).

If you ever listened to Ab soul and KendrickLamar's Rappers sh*t and you loved it. Then you'll love listen to Prism and CarlCulas's remake, which might drop anytime from now. When Prism hooked up the joint and said Yoh Wise man you gotta listen to this and give me your honest opinion; in the back of my mind I was like "one of those tasks that can have you be labelled a player hater."
So I listened to the joint and my night was made. This is what I told Prism, "Look man you lived up to the standard. I'm not easily impressed trust me. If you failed I was gonna tell you straight that you messing a classic but Now I tell you that you are within the classic and you are a classic and you on a classic. Take my words." Now all I'm saying is ya'll can wait for it to drop and hear for yourselves. I guarantee you won't be disappointed, it will be worth every 6,50 minutes of listening.

One gotta love what the members of Genesis are doing to the state of BGF Hip hop, they just keep raising the bar and they are one of those labels that keep the hopes and dream of BGF Hip hop alive. if you love hip hop, this is the joint to listen.

In Touch With Dramatikmelo

This is one of the longest interview I ever had, it lasted more than three days. that's how busy ma ninja Melo is. I respect this B's hustles and talking to him made me think many cats from BGF can take few hustling tips from him. This is how the interview went......
Wise: Melo ma man
Dramatikmelo: Ola boss
Wise: How you doing ma guy?
Dramatikmelo: Good n you guy
Wise: I'm dope. Man I think it's about time the 013 peeps get to know Melo now! So How about an interview?
Dramatikmelo: Eish yes but you’ll have to bare with me as I'm driving around town doing pick up n drop off
Wise: Ok Halla at me when you in a space to chat
Dramatikmelo: Lol today is gonna be hectic let's just take it a q at a time my guy
Wise: Lol Ok. Just take up through DramatikMelo. Who he is and what he's about?
Dramatikmelo: Dramatikmelo is an aka name as you know in the music industry is a world of aka names and all that. Full name is Kgotso Mohlala brewed in BGF "cbd" went to Ikhwezi primary and then Wem high school.
Dramatikmelo: Oh and remember them days you would rock each and every Sisqo song and dance (laughing)
Wise: Ha ha ha ha So Sisqo influenced you into music?
Dramatikmelo: Not really but in our early teen stages Him "sisqo" Druhill/D12/Usher/Jarule/Kabelo/Tkzee/Jigga Man " Mr Hova" was what was booming on Simunye grooves
Wise: Ha ha ha ha dang man you going way back. Now you are known as one of the best producers in BGF, when did the beat making bug sting you?
Dramatikmelo: Well it all began with being curious with how do these guys make is and if they can why can't one also do it. But always had love for music as a whole, started with djying in 2005 when I got to Polokwane then met guys who also where on a beginner’s level with beat making showed me couple of tricks/steps and hooked me up with a pc so I could get my groove on. Ever since then guy I've been grinding and learning at the same time “you know music changes overnight”
Wise: True that. Who is your favourite producer?
Dramatikmelo: Producer or producers
Wise: Ha ha ha one ma man

Dramatikmelo: Haaah no bra
Wise: Ok producers then.
Dramatikmelo: Timba, Swizz, Scotch stoch, Dre, just blaze
Wise: Ha ha ha BGF cats can't choose one. You worked with Monster Saint lately Bars On Flows. Well Saint killed them bars and flows for sure. And how did you come up with such a killer beat?
Dramatikmelo: Oh that I produced the track but the beat he came with it “taken from SA hip hop and beats" the one Dizz won few months back.
Wise: Oh Ok. Now of all artists that you worked with; who is the most creative one you ever worked with?
Dramatikmelo: They all are creative just that you get those who have no idea on how to execute the art/skill, that's where as a producer I step in and do magic (laughs with tongue out)
Wise: Ma man. And what are you currently working on?
Dramatikmelo: We busy with Czar's FirtCutTape and amongst other things got FT_MaF new group I'm also producing their tape lastly the BGF Ke Stele brand, the rest is just business as always even now as we talking I'm on the wheel chasing Gwap " I'm not promoting texting& driving"
Wise: Tell us about BGF ke stele
Dramatikmelo: Bgf Ke Stele right? Well it's a Melo and partner "kagiso Choppa" brand was always a dream be rocking my own brand, as I'm not so into brands and all but I do own a few of your up market brand. It's a 3yr project but we eventually got the brake through a month ago, anyone can rock BGF Ke Stele as it's a Burgersfort brand not a crew name or all that
Wise: Now talking business. Do you think BGF producers and rappers have enough potential to be supper executives one day running major businesses?
Dramatikmelo: Eish hard to say bro reasons being we hardly sit and share ideas on other things but a few that I've had chats with I would say they do have, but you know the golden rule if you don't believe or pick yourself up you will never get where you need to be
Wise: True that. So what advice can you people who are planning to be producers and entrepreneurs?
Dramatikmelo: It all starts with you “what you want/need" how you would like it to be done/look. Then you can go for it knowing what kinda sounds you want to define you as a producer/beat maker or kinda business that you would make it look easy even if it's not next to easy
Wise: Ma man. Anything else we need to know about Melo?
Dramatikmelo: For now ya'all just got to be clued to social media, it's a busy year for me!
Wise: Man Thank you very much for you time. We appreciate and celebrate your life.

Dramatikmelo: We good………….

In Touch With Mimz

Wise:  Mimz ma man
Mimz: Aita bro
 Wise: How ya doing?
Mimz:  I'm cool and ya?
Wise: I'm dope. You know what this mean right?
Mimz:  Mmmh well I guess I do bro...
Wise: Well you let’s do this, tell us about Mimz. Who is Mimz and what is he about?
Mimz: Well Mimz Prime is a rapper from Burgersfort Mabocha.. But sometimes I don't consider myself as a rapper; I just talk rhymically on the beats... I’m about doing good music, most of my friends believe that I do hard-core kinda rap
Wise: Ma man, so you hard-core like that, where did you get the influence?
Mimz:  Eminem and Obie Trice, I think this two guys made wanna rap too, I always liked their music. That’s where I got da influence
Wise: Obie Trice dang where is that ninja? Now looking at the state of BGF Hip hop, do you think we on the right track or we need to pull some muscles?
Mimz : Lol the nigga is still alive and kicking...well BGF hip hop is on the right track ma man, just that some cats are lost, I think they chose wrong genre,
Wise: Ha ha ha ha man you are bold to say that.
Mimz: Lol eish man I mean some tracks can even make your ears bleed...
Wise: Ha ha ha ha I hear you man. So basically you say there are some ninjas who just have to do justice and drop the Mic?
Mimz: My point exactly ...lol but who am I to judge
Wise: Ha ha ha ha you are Hip hop don't be apologetic about that. Now you must have a list of your top dope BGF emcees. Drop their names
Mimz: As far as I heard dis cats this is my list .DOVE .Khing Row .Prism .Turm .Taydos
Wise: Now those who gotta drop the Mic. Name them man. Or maybe those who gotta up their game
Mimz: Lol let’s hope they won’t hunt me down and beat my ass up honestly I think cats like Yoggy, jay style and Cru. Must quit when it is still early they don't have to be ashamed at least we all know they tried... Skillz must chill up a bit, da way he raps it’s like he's throwing punches at someone,
Wise: Ha ha ha ha ma man, let's hope you be safe on this one. Now let's talk about your latest offering. Your new single is coming out right?
Mimz: Yeah the track is called ''muzik Talkz ' it is already cooked produced by khing Row and today I will be dropping the link
Wise: What is the joint about and what can people expect?
Mimz: Well I’m just speaking my mind off man...just letting haters know that they motivate me even more, and warning other cats wat I’m about....
Wise: Cool stuff. Now what do you think about beef, is it good or bad for Hip hop?
Mimz: Lol eish man I like this beef thing, I mean it makes the game more interesting, and even this diss tracks trend too well.., I don’t wish to be dissed man but whoever provokes me. Imma make him regret da day he started rap
Wise: ha ha ha ha is that a warning?
Mimz: Lol well they can take it as a warning. I like playing with words when it comes to diss
Wise: Before I let you go. Give your top ten lyricists of BGF
Mimz: Ok dis are my top 10 .Dove .Mimz . Khing .Turm .prism .Taydos .nose .king Marvel .Roc lane .Chris Jotter
Wise: ma man. Anything else we gotta know about Mimz.
Mimz: Well before December I’m gonna drop two more tracks... I will be working with Dove and khing Row, we will let the muzik talk for us
Wise: Man thank you for your time. We appreciate and celebrate your life. God bless
