Understanding Beef

What is beef? Most people be looking at rappers and think rappers loves beef and stuff like they always have issues. What you see in rappers is not really beef but the outcomes of beef and settling them in self-expression and wordplay. If you wanna know what beef is you better start looking around because beef is what we live every day, poverty is beef because there are some minority rich niggas who maintain and guarantee it for their own gain, now that's beef. Hearing your folks telling you they can't get you what you want because they broke, seeing your aunts not talking to each other. Growing up with your family having those neighbours they telling you not to enter their yards or to be careful around them; now that's beef. Beef is when you watch news and see cross fire in the Middle East, seeing an infant sitting next to his lifeless folks. If you wanna know what beef is tune to parliamentary channel and hear niggas neglecting the mandate of building the country and start chasing power and money. Beef is unemployment; beef is everyday protest, from ordinary citizens to trade unions. Beef is when protesters start vandalizing the very same services they fighting for. Beef is those villages where clean running water is luxury. Hip hop is the establishment that understand what beef is and handles it by taking it into rhythm and put poetic words to it.
That is why I always say Hip hop is not for the faint hearted. It's for the people who understand it and acknowledge the power of settling issues on the beat. And still go and perform on the same platform. But the faint hearted turn everything into that situation of aunts not talking and visiting one another. That is not Hip hop. Real niggas beef on the same producer's beats. Be under same management and change same studio sessions. It is Hip hop. They that don't understand mess up this beautiful establishment, We have situations on the BGF Hip hop whereby we have couple of misunderstandings and when people has to handle them on the beat the decide to keep the beef in their fridge. Trust me I'm cool with any rapper around and I dream nothing but to see BGF Hip hop going beyond our boundaries. And I will come up against anything that will stop us from growing.

Most people be saying beef is boring and ain't good for us as if we do not have differences. We are humans we have feelings and emotions and if we do not use this platform called rhythm and poetry to express and settle our differences trust me we'll never grow but will have niggas trippin all over, making good music but not talking to one another, blocking one another, being straight gossips and all and that will remain unresolved beef and stupidity. We'll keep on steppin on one another's toes not knowing what the other party don't like or uncomfortable in. We will never get used to niggas who don't stop running their mouth and we'll never acquire skill to keep them quiet; beef is when issues remain unresolved and evolve to violence. But real niggas manned up and went on the beat and ate their smoked beef together and become friends afterwards. Rhythm and poetry is about expression and gaining respect and passing the message through. If you think Hip hop is bad then you better start looking around you because beef is real life we living every day. Listen to Beef by MosDef Now known as Yasiin Bey.

In Touch With BluBox

Got in touch With one Musketeer of the Three..... He is known as BluBox, member of A League and Uno fam
Wise: Blue ma man
Blu Box: Awe
Wise: Sup ma ninja?
Blu Box: Im good and sharpening my blades and you
Wise: I'm good. Ha ha ha ha who provoked you to take your blades outta the closet?
Blu Box: Nobody really directly provoked me but it has to be the late Cru Major. You call the A you call the Be.
Wise: Don't hurt him. Man take us through blubox life a lil bit
Blu Box: Lol uhmm...blubox's life....I don’t know where to begin make vivid nyana.
Wise: Who is Blubox and what is he about?
Blu Box: Ok BluBox is a Born Lyrical Underdog; an Emcee from The Actuall League, the nigga is just about killing beats I think that is Blubox.
Wise: Ha ha ha nice and short. And where do you hail from?
Blu Box: Eh Originally I hail from Witbank, Ext 7 that's where I was born raise then later in my life we relocated to Burgersfort, Bothashoek where my dad is almost from lol.
Wise: Ma man. Now who took part in shaping BluBox rapping skills? Where is the influence coming from?
Blu Box: Lol hahaha, long story cut short my brother introduced me to hip hop but I was not really into it but then I understood untill I moved to BGF where I met The RocKing Emcee El Maestro who I am actually his prodigy.
With Turm
Wise: What is that you guys smoke at the A league. In fact the Uno fam? I mean you guys just keep on coming.
Blu Box: Lol you know why? This thing in our blood we are not faking it or contesting our egos so that we can be put at a certain standard socially. We are what we are.
Wise: Ha ha ha ma man. So ya'll are smoking a real joint. Man looking at the BGF Hip hop; are we on a good standard or we still having a mountain to climb?
Blu Box: Look if we can fight these alien inhabitants such as Cru Major (I’m sorry he's just a good example) we actually going to move mountains. Their existence is the reason why some will say they do not see the future of hip hop because they breed destruction and illiteracy.
Wise: lol leaving Cru now. How can we approach Tubatse fm to bless us with a Hip hop show?
Blu Box: I do not really have much knowledge to explain how, but I think if we as a collective could propose to them about this movement with valid reason, if they are wise enough and really care about the youth as they preach they will foster our ideas and give us the platform.
Wise: You worked with couple of emcees and listened to some. Who is the illest you know?
Blu Box: You mean the illest around 013?
Wise: Yeah

Blu Box: Uhmm bona in no particular order I’d say Taydos f*cken dope, Nose righteously bloody dope, Turm F*cken dope Syllable freak, Prism fucken doope, Fess Classic, AbN doope and these are the ones I can think of now you now otherwise the list endless.
Wise: And who should up their game or just hang up the Mic
Blu Box: Yoggy Bar must put down the Mic unless he is willing to work extra hard in his language Cru Mayor must R.I.P not death just rest in peace.
Wise: Ha ha I hear you. Tell us about the three Musketeers. How did it come about?
Blu Box: Lol as far as I remember it started with a track called The 3 Musketeers unfortunately it got lost but then it was a hit that made us realise that we could actually make a perfect group.
Wise:. So we gonna hear more from the three?
Blu Box: most definitely, in fact we are going to drop a track called Yoh hey featuring Turm hala dope track.
Wise: Is it done or ya'll are still cooking it?
Blu Box: Ha ha ah it’s done long cooked but still hot.

With Nose
Wise: Ha ha ha ha that one is a must hear. Anything we should know about blubox?
Blu Box: The Vale will be drooping a few singles soon, called Black Emancipation,(P P F S)Past Present Future and Soon. I actually have a lot of work ahead of me, there is a mixtape called The Category Five Typhoon which still exist in my head, intact at this time of the year was supposed to be done with a Mixtape called The Conjuring, but I couldn't work on it due to some misunderstandings
Wise: Man Thanks for your time. We appreciate and celebrate your life. Stay blessed and good luck with your career
Blu Box: Awe Wise thanks a lot man

In Touch With Trey Mash

His name is Trey mash and he approached me for an interview, and it got all interesting when he said I got my guns and I’ll be taking shots @ someone. Well keep reading
Wise: Trey
Trey Mash: Ola
Wise: Vat se'?
Trey Mash: Monate my dawg n u
Wise: I'm dope. You called for it. Are you ready?
Trey Mash: Yea homie let’s do it

Wise: Take us through you man. Who is Treyy mash and what is he good at?
Trey Mash: Trey Mash is an upcoming rapper born in Burgersfort but schooled and spent most of his life in Pretoria, he began rapping at the age of 16 and throughout that entire phase he learned to perfect and learn different than of. rap styles and now he currently has his own genre titled Kasi Trap which is a combination of interior rap styles and local...he is a very humble God fearing Rapper who believes in people and fans that believe in him. He got the name Trey Mash by combining his name (Trevor) and his surname (Mashilo)
Wise: What or who influenced your founded style of rapping
Trey Mash: I was influenced by the legendary Tupac for the lyrics, Biggie with the flow and soulja boy with the swag, well internationally of course. And locally I was and still am influenced by the likes of K.O and the former Skwatta camp. Hence fusing the 2 styles of international and local together
Wise: Oh Ok I hear you. Now man there is a smoke that you aiming @ Lil chief. You gotta tell me dawg what beef, where did it all start?

Trey Mash: Well the beef all started with a post I made on his Facebook timeline telling him that he shouldn't be bragging about 1k in a week so that led to an exchange of words between him and I and his whole crew or whatever attacked me but I managed to balance the equation even though I was out numbered and I really don't like his attitude towards the fans so as a man I won't gossip but I take action and that action will be done through music
Wise: Damn I so love social media. Everything starts there. When is the joint dropping?
Trey Mash: The track is dropping later tonight at 8pm sharp! It’s titled ZER0 coz his attitude ain’t number one
Wise: Ma man. So you one of those who think beef is good for Hip hop and a good way of clearing issues?
Trey Mash: Yes, I certainly think so because the chances of meeting whoever I have a problem with in the game are slim so the only way for me as a rapper to address such issues is through a diss track which is beef, as a man in the game there is no need for guns or knives but we can clear all these issues through this God given talent plus it makes the game more interesting
Wise: Now talking about beef. We have a beef going on right now! Cru's response to Skillz provoked Taydos who can with a response. Looking at both joints! Which one takes it?
Trey Mash: Lol for me I would have to go with Taydos bro...the thing is cru was preaching and Taydos was rapping u see, Taydos got flow and lines Cru just got lines but no flow, no offence to Cru
Wise: Who is the illest emcee that is doing for you in BGF?

Trey Mash: I would have to go with Turm, Slunky and Taydos
Wise: And who do you think should up their game or just drop the Mic?
Trey Mash: Cru should up his game, chief should up his game and well as for dropping the mic I say no one should drop it coz we all bring different styles to BGF and uplifting it so it’s all good
Wise: Ma man. So what can be expected from you this year?
Trey Mash: This I dropped my 1st ever music video which is doing very well and expect to see me on Tv..I also have a hit titled #KasiTrap in a few months’ time and a more mellow track titled #OnMyWay feat Tshego So it's a busy year for me hey
Wise: Busy one indeed, we trying to find a way to propose a Hip hop show to Tubatse fm. Any idea how we should go about?
Trey Mash: Well I think ya’ll can propose maybe a freestyle show hey, something like full clip where different upcoming rappers come and showcase their talents whereby they spit freestyles on the show.
Wise: Man Thanks for having time with us. We appreciate and celebrate your life.
Trey Mash: It was a pleasure being interviewed by ya’ll thank you a lot. God bless
Wise: Ma man. God bless you too.

From Seven To Eight Taydos Responds

Someone asked me how Cru Mayor can give us windows 7 when Taydos has Windows 8. And I asked is Tay in the studio? They said yeah man but unfortunately load shedding decided to visit. Well just less than 15 hours of Cru’s Seven Taydos responded with Eight. The beef that was supposed to between Skillz and Cru but Cru took it to another level and pointed his shots @ couple of Emcees like Tydos, Turm, Monster Saint just to mention a few. Taydos crime is the emerged right here on his interview with The 013 hip hop. Cru claim Tay called this to him by saying I quote “Ha ha lemme say if I was Cru Mayor, Skillz wouldn’t even have had to wait more than a day for a reply. Then I’d battle him still for good measure”

TAYDOS HAPPENED
Now the question is, Isn’t Taydos a man who follows after his own words? He said “wouldn’t even have had to wait more than a day…………..” well ladies and gentlemen #EIGHT is out and like #Seven it is causing havoc with lot of people asking who is taking it, this is hip hop and shout out to taydos for giving us one of the fastest responds in the history of BGF hip hop. Beef Served. Seven is out and causing havoc

Cru Mayor’s seven shots returned is out and Friday is so interesting in the BGF hip hop cycle. The song got everyone talking and it is trending, flowing into every playlist. The beef started months ago with Cru poking fingers unto Skillz via Facebook regarding his verse on Marvel T song Party called party pooper. Skillz retaliated with a joint called Taking Shot and damn took shots for sure that
chased Cru into hiding. Friends and fans expressed their disappointments on Cru’s hide and seek.
Some says this is what he did
Today Cru mayor is back and he is showing a middle finger not only to Skillz but also to rappers who expressed their disappointments and lost respect for him. Did he make a right move to go after them Kats? We’ll see about that. While others are praising Cru, others say he just wrote his own obituary. Some says the shots are not yet returned to Skillz because he missed him and scratched dangerous dogs. We at The 013 Hip hop are just waiting to see where this is gonna end and appeal to Cru to unblock niggas on Facebook (the game has to be fair and reveal bravery). Let the game begin
